Some people have compared Twitter Friends to Google Analytics in terms of tracking what you do, even if you don’t know what you do. The aim of this post is to introduce you to a tool written by Benedikt Koehler.  This tool is Twitter Friends.

It’s goal is to point out who really matters to you on Twitter, as well as showing you what you do when you are on Twitter.  How often you post, what kind of posts you post, and how often you reply to your followers.

The point of this article is to show you how you can use this information to improve yourself, as well the experience of your followers.

Before you go and start adding adsense to your website, you should understand that the thousand to 10 thousand dollar paycheck days from adsense are over. You will no longer be sitting around, waiting on fed-ex to come over and deliver your huge Adsense checks. Today, you will be more likely to earn about $20 to $200 dollars a month, if you’re lucky. So the choice is yours if you want to subject your customers to ads on your website that result in potentially little to no income.

Another thing to consider is, you could be sending people away from your website to other competitors, and as such this could drive people away from your site, and away from your products and services.  Not to mention that you could turn off your readers who hate seeing ads. If you’re using another ad network on your website, or currently charge advertisers to advertise on your website, they might not like seeing Google ads on your site.  Not only that, but why would the advertisers want to pay you 500‑1000 dollars a month to advertise on your website, when they can pay Google to advertise on your website for 20–30 cents a click?

In this article I’m going to show you how to claim your blog with Technorati.  The reason you want to do this is so your blog gets additional traffic from Technorati.  When we “claim our blog” the next thing we do is put in some tags and a brief description about our blog, that way others can find us on the web. I created a video that covers the process which is located at the bottom of this post.
